Privacy Policy

Who we are

The Service is operated by MEETALENT SAS, registered in France. We act as data controller for the personal data collected from API users (you), and as data processor for the contact records returned by the API to authenticated callers.

What we collect from API users

  • Email address and name (via Clerk authentication).
  • Hashed API keys, creation/usage timestamps.
  • Per-call logs: endpoint, status, latency, response size.
  • Audit events for security-relevant actions (login, key issuance, key revocation).

We use this data to operate the Service, enforce per-account quotas, detect abuse, and bill (when paid plans are introduced).

Contact records returned by the API

Contact records are sourced from public professional profiles and corporate disclosures. They include name, professional title, company, business email, public LinkedIn URL, and similar professional metadata. Data subjects can request removal of their record from our index by emailing dpo@prospect-api.com from any address that demonstrates control of the relevant identity.

Lawful basis (GDPR)

For API users, we rely on contract performance (Article 6.1.b). For contact records, we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6.1.f) for legitimate business-development and recruitment use. Records can be opted out at any time as described above.

Cookies

We use Clerk for authentication, which sets first-party session cookies. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Sub-processors

  • Vercel (hosting, EU regions).
  • Neon (managed Postgres, EU region).
  • Clerk (authentication).
  • Sentry (error monitoring; PII redacted).
  • Scaleway (object storage, fr-par).

Retention

Account data is retained while the account is active and for 30 days after closure. Per-call logs are retained for 90 days. Audit events may be retained longer when required by law.

Your rights

You have rights to access, rectify, delete, port, and object. Email dpo@prospect-api.com to exercise them. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
